Our Founder Chimeren Peerbhai took part as an product/project manager at Facebook’s “Make Stuff Better” 24 Hour Hackathon. Our team won first place by creating the LGBT Whip a web app dedicated to bring together the community and supporters, to choose Parliamentary Candidates who will vote for and not repeal hard-won LGBT rights. User’s can enter their postcode to view and compare declared candidates’ views on relevant issues and incumbents’ previous voting histories. The team continued the project for over a year after the hack, working in their spare time and meeting regularly to launch the free app for the UK elections to support human rights.
